The work that has marked the beginnings of our architectural studio was closely connected to our first clients. They were primarily young people and families seeking adequate living spaces.
As a result of this process, we arrived at a basic definition of humans who become active subjects in a social context through the process of socialization, and we realized that architecture also becomes a shared tool through participation.
Our design principles that have become starting points for every project include respecting space and street silhouette, structural honesty, materials that are the first intuitive choice after visiting the site, and not competing with nature but adapting where possible.
Ajla was born in Bihać, a city recognizable by its river and status as a nature park city. Edin comes from Vinkovci, a city of different, slower dynamics, whose horizontality and street silhouette in repetitive rhythm bring expected results in architectural language.
